{Feeling A Little Light Headed?}

{Disaster} I only gave this mild disaster ranking simply because it is a somewhat common disaster and no one was seriously injured.  I’ve been to a couple of weddings myself where this has happened.  Perhaps not quite this dramatically though.  This is definitely a moment where there is a silent gasp from everyone, but is still easily recovered from and the wedding can continue.  Luckily there is a simple warning to help in this situation stated below.

{Disaster Ranking} The Gasp Factor/The Show Must Go On

{Lesson Learned}  It’s not too often people are expected to stand that still for such a long period of time.  It may feel short while you’re sitting in the pews but even a 15 minute ceremony can be a long time not to wiggle, especially for a younger boy. Make sure you warn all of your attendants before the ceremony to keep their knees bent while standing.  Locking your knees may feel more comfortable but it cuts off circulation which results in….the above mishap.  (Also try to keep all attendants sober for the ceremony, as sometimes falling over has nothing to do with the knees.)
