{Little Tiny Wedding Crashers}

{Disaster} I found myself laughing out loud when I saw this photo.  Less because there is a bug on his back and more because it was set amongst a professional photographers photos.  My first thought was that someone should tell him there’s a grasshopper on his back and help him get it off, but no, the photographer took the time to set up his shot first.  Hopefully this he was nice enough to tell him.

{Disaster Ranking} Downright uncomfortable

{Lesson Learned} An outdoor wedding is bound to have these little guests, and depending on the area you’ll find bigger ones like this.  Chances are your local guests won’t be too surprised and will probably be perfectly used to them.  If you have a guest from the northwest like me, who travels to North Carolina for your wedding to discover that cockroaches actually hiss, you may have a few squeamish people.  If you’re near a body of stagnant water, like a pond or lake and your wedding is taking place at dusk you will most definitely want tiki torches or other repellent to keep the mosquitoes away, otherwise guests will probably be ducking out of there a bit early (or hiding in the bathrooms).  Some bugs keep away from fire, but others seem to be attracted to it.  If anyone knows any tips to keep bugs away from weddings other than the Pide Piper for insects, or Bug Whisperer, let us know below!
